There were a couple of cute outfits, but nothing that really wowed me.
Along with Leanne & Korto, I see a clear point of view which i LOVE to see a designer have! So that tells me that she just might be in the final 3!!! i hope so!!!
I do believe that all the guys who showed are out because it doesn't look like they put all that into it, which is what you might do if you were out!

This collection was unimaginative and derivative.
I know most are put off by Kenley's attitude on "Project Runway," but to give credit where it is clearly due, she put out a rather fun and whimsical collection. The colors are youthful and have a real pop, the proportions are perfect for a night out dress and everything is immaculately made.
although she won't win PR5, her collection shows a strong point of view and it looks professional, and it looks like a collection. she only have to find her own voice.
Omigosh!!!!!!!!!!! Kenley is such an amazing artist. Her Clothes are a work of art not just so so. I think her craftmanship is impeccible I would wear any one or all of her fasions! Go Kenley!
Come on!!! This wasn't a cohesive collection at all. What is the story of it? No color theme, no design theme!!!
I Jerrels collection more than Kenleys. I find her's disjointed. I dont know where the feather dress fits, or where the painted dress fits next to the asian styled one with a tulle underlay. They both have flowers on them? And to top that all off, I didnt like anything she made. I woulnt wear or dream to wear any of it.

this is supposed to be a spring collection? nothing about these pieces fit the season. it wasnt the least bit cohesive and i felt like i had deja vu the entire time. we've seen almost every piece here in some form or another on the show. very amateur compared to leeanne and korto.
I like Jerrel's better as well. At least all of them were very new. Nothing i have seen before.

I think most her collection is very amateurish and silly. There were a few cute pieces, but, I've seen them before a million times. That feather dress is the dumbest looking thing I've seen in my life. It's absolutely hideous. Everyone's entitled to their opinions,and tastes, but, her collection is like a joke to me.
Kenley, it's rather simple.
You will not win Project Runway. These looks are tired and have already been done before. There is no innovation...no innovation whatsoever. Thumbs down.
Kenley's designs are dull, derivative, and amateurish. They look like dresses from the Burda pattern catalog! Her silhouettes offer nothing new or nuanced. Her colors are all over the place - what season is she showing for? Other than the hand painting, her fabrics don't have any razzle-dazzle. She reminds me of Wendy Pepper - somebody else who didn't deserve to show in NYC. I'm so not impressed. I still can't figure out why she wasn't eliminated on the last challenge.
i have to disagree with alot of the comments below me. im 22 and i love the fun and flirty-ness of her collection. its very whimsical and reminds me alot of betsey johnson. i have to say for young 20some year olds this is very cute.
I like Kenley's collection compared to Jerrel's and Korto's.
Kenley designs is very 1940's glamour. Well made and you can tell thats kenley's collection if one of the celebrities is wearing it.
Korto's design is too ethnic. I was hoping she goes outside her comfort zone. but her wedding dress is simply exquisite.
Jerrel's design is playful but at the same time it looks very cheap and leave the sequience to Laura/PR3, Jerrel!
As much as i like Kenley's design, but i think Leanne is going to win it all. Her clothes are innovative, ready to wear and oh my god - the colors..wow!

Kenley's collection, on the other hand, is too 1950's and out of all the contestants she appears to be the one who is most reluctant to step out of her comfort zone. I can't see her being ranked above Korto.
Re: Comment on Korto -"too ethnic" again why should stop designing "ethnic" What should she design, what are "white people clothes" if you were from Africa they'd be "ethnic" to you. Get over yourself. she's from AFRICA! i thinks she does beautiful designs.
Anyway, I'm not a fan of Kenleys design I have to say. I like Leanne's thought, very nice. It doesn't really show a lot of wearable elegant. Some of her pieces like the taupe and flower dress are very nice..she should do more of that..other than that it was too rebellious and weirded out..you can be unique without being crazy. And some of the pieces looked not as well-made.sorry. not clean and finished. That's just my opinion.
Hats off to Kenley! Hand painted fabrics, feathers, asian textiles, silk, and every other type of dress you see in Kenley's collection are CLEARLY inspired by 1950's and 40's. If you know anything about vintage clothing and vintage styles, then you would know that. Her silhouttes, however, are not 50s or 40s! They are modern. This is why the judges kept her on the show. She is innovative and creative. She is able to draw inspiration, and create new exciting looks. The judges who obviously know their fashion history were able to see this.
As a gal whose pretty picky about her vintage pieces, I'd wear almost any one of Kenley's dresses!
I nearly fell off my seat when I saw her hand painted pieces. Wow, so impressive.
Obviously theres a bigger market for Leanne's boxy petal thing-a-ma-dresses. They are so architectural, modern, and green...and if you like that sort of thing. Fine. I don't, and many other people like myself don't either.
Nina should have tore into Kenley more about copying. For the people who do not believe, go check out Balenciaga spring 2008 collection. There is absolutely no way she has never seen it. It is Balenciaga with bits of Alexander McQueen's fall 2008 collection. She very obviously took more than just inspiration away from these two collections. Why didn't the judges rip her copying wide open? Why did she make it so far? She is unoriginal. This was by far the worst season ever.
For anyone thinking or stating deja vu in response to Kenley's collection, that's because her designs are actually memorable. Maybe one should revisit the designers' portfolios before they judge. As to where Leanne's petal idea originated from, let's revisit Kenley's design from episode 12 and give credit where credit's due for a change. In my opinion, Kenley although she does specialize in dresses, has shown the most creativity.

Seriously, I can't believe how some people are surprised she didn't win EVERYTHING she did was a remake of something she already did on the challenges. Don't get me wrong I love her and her style but that was boring
Leanne absolutely deserved to win. The detail & workmanship on her clothes was exquisite. It's too bad Kortu couldn't have won something. Her designs are in no way "too ethnic". As Nina noted, she knows how to dress all different kinds of shapes. I think she will go far. Kenley?? She should have never made it the finale. I think the judges should have ripped her to shreds for so obviously copying other designers work. Who does she think she's kidding?? Well, that's my 2 cents worth!
