This was not my least favorite collection but it was next to last on my list.
i liked. could have had tweaks here and there but still not THAT bad. Go Suede!
Sorry JD... it WAS THAT BAD! And all the tweaking in the world could not have saved this collection. This collection is a MAJOR embarrassment for Bravo, Project Runway, IMG and Fern Mallis
This collection was disgustingly ugly. The commentator is absolutely right in labeling the looks as cheerleader and prom-like. The fabrics are all shiny and tacky, and the concept of fit makes no appearance in Suede's pathetic showing.

I don't get it...even if you're not part of the finally, why not work just as hard since you are still showing at fashion week. Can someone elaborate on this? thanks.

this was beyond horrible. jerell's was head and shoulders above this...at least his clothes fit his models and attempted new and different things. this is a HUGE embarrassment to project runway. i don't think suede could even make a decent prom line.
Anonymous, we agree, Suede should have worked as hard as he could -- he had this incredible opportunity to strut his stuff at Fashion Week, in front of the press and the public, but maybe this collection underscores that he is not as talented as the others. And Lauren, we agree with you too, Jerell's collection was far, far better than this one.
I used to work with Stephen Baum aka Suede back at Jordache Enterprises (New York). He would go onto server and steal other designers cads (sketches) and remix a little and claim credit. He has a pretty bad reputation in the business and that's why he reinvented himself with new his new name. Smoke and mirrors type and very caddy guy, I'm actually surprised he has made it as far as he has. I guess in PR you can survive as long as you're not the worst. SParks.
